management systems support, as well as business and infrastructure management
services.
Job Summary:
Sanford Federal, Inc. is looking to hire Administrative Support Specialist, that will be
responsible for assisting the 18th Medical Group (MDG) by providing administrative and
personnel support. Your primary focus will be on coordinating and facilitating various
training programs to ensure the professional development and competency of medical
personnel within the MDG.
Location:
18th Medical Group, Unit 5268, Kadena Air Base, APO AP 96368-5142, Japan
Duty Hours: From 07:30 AM to 04:30 PM
Responsibilities:
Administrative Support:
• Provide guidance and support for administrative functions related to medical personnel training
and development.
• Manage training records, documentation, and course approvals.
• Coordinate scheduling of training sessions and maintain training calendars.
• Procure necessary administrative supplies and equipment for the Education and Training Staff.
Training Coordination:
• Assist in scheduling courses, including life support certifications (e.g., ACLS, BLS, etc.).
• Adjust priorities based on organizational training needs and requirements.
• Track and update training requests and schedules for MDG personnel.

Data Management:
• Maintain accurate records and databases to ensure training documentation is up-to date.
• Provide statistical reports on completion rates for both mandatory and optional
training programs.
Technical Skills:
• Utilize various computer programs and databases (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite,
Relias Learning, MyLearning, JKO, Red Cross, etc.) to perform job duties
effectively.
Qualifications:
• Experience in administrative support and coordination.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with various databases and
Online platforms.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt and prioritize tasks based on changing needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
MUST BE RESIDENT IN JAPAN -
• Previous experience in a healthcare or military environment.
• Familiarity with DoD and AFIs, MAJCOM, AETC, and DHA guidelines.
