Job Description/Scope of Work: The 38th RQS requires contracted support to provide its personal Bi-annual Paramedic refresher course. Training will consist of 4 days of classroom paramedic refresher material. Instructional services shall provide Guardian Angel with academic instruction and access to continuing education hours. Instructors must be able to properly instruct 20 Air Force Pararescue troops. Location will be on Moody AFB.

Sanford Federal, Inc. is seeking a EMS/Paramedic instructors and SMEs to lead a federal contract.

Responsibilities

The candidate shall provide a 4-day training package in a 4-day window on Moody AFB that satisfies all requirements:

·       Four (4) days of NREMT-P paramedic refresher training course designed to teach all aspects of National Registry of EMT-Paramedic certification.

·       SMEs/Instructors capable of providing the most current evidence-based medical instruction in the following subject areas.

·       Advanced Cardiac Life Support

·       Pediatric Advanced Life Support

·       Pre-Hospital Trauma Life support

·       Advanced Life Support

·       Curriculum must be current, evidence-based content, 100% CAPCE-approved, evidence-based EMS continuing education that helps to develop better practitioners.

·       Certifications and compliance monitoring required with customizable reporting, scheduling, and tracking.

·       Candidate will provide access to 60 hours of online CAPCE approved courses including PEPP,

·       PHTLS, AMLS over 12 month period.

·       Candidate will provide American Heart Association renewal for BLS, ACLS, PALS provider cards.

·       Candidate will provide a 2-D anatomy review of systems and human patient simulation during BLSS, ACLS, and PALS classroom scenario instruction to include RSI, post-intubation sedation, IV medication administration, ventilator application.

·       Candidate will provide interactive classroom instruction, from game-based learning, to patient simulations, to live patient videos, to critical-thinking scenarios.

·       Candidate will provide relevant evidence-based course content that aligns with recognized pararescue standards, guidelines, and protocols defined by medical direction in Pararescue medical Handbook.  

Government provided Transportation, Items of Equipment and Materials:

·       Unit specific items of equipment will be provided by the unit per their organizational Table of Equipment, i.e., 38th RQS issued load-out items:

·       Individual and Team Uniforms and Equipment per SOPs

·       38th RQS will provide equipment for use during hands on skills training to include Zoll Ventilators, Zoll monitors, IV supplies, medication administration supplies, applicable medical supplies.

Qualifications:

·       Instructors are required to be present during instruction/training.

·       Instructor cadre will include at least one member who is familiar with Pararescue medical SOPs/TTPs.

·       Instructor cadre must have real world experience treating patients.

·       Candidate must have experience in NREMT-P recertification course.
